NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC:
ICA International Chemicals (Pty) Ltd. intends to submit an application for derogation for the
registered agricultural remedy, SpiroFlo 240 SC (L 11598), containing spirodiclofen, classified as a
Carcinogen Category 1B. This application pertains to its use as a acaricide for the control of
mite pests on crops such as Citrus and Strawberries.
As required by the Fertilizer, Farm Feeds, Agricultural Remedies, and Stock Remedies Act (Act
No. 36 of 1947), a toxicological risk assessment has been conducted. The public is invited to
review the reports and provide comments or objections within 30 days of this notice.
