NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC:
ICA International Chemicals (Pty) Ltd. intends to submit an application for derogation for the
registered agricultural remedy, Az-WELL 250 SC (L 10078), containing epoxiconazole, classified as
a Reproductive Toxin Category 1B. This application pertains to its use as a fungicide for the
control of diseases in crops such as Barley, Wheat, Soybeans, Groundnuts, Maize and
Sweetcorn.
As required by the Fertilizer, Farm Feeds, Agricultural Remedies, and Stock Remedies Act (Act
No. 36 of 1947), a toxicological risk assessment has been conducted. The public is invited to
review the reports and provide comments or objections within 30 days of this notice.
